Job Title:                     First Team Performance Analyst


Department:             First Team


Contract Type:          Full-time


Responsible to:         Team Manager


Responsible for:        Analysis of the performance of First Team players


Purpose of role:       The purpose of the role is to ensure that up-to-date statistics and performance data of both Bolton Wanderers & of any opposition they may face is available to the relevant staff and players.


Key Responsibilities:


Manage the Day-to-Day Running of the Performance Analysis Department
Filming & Coding of 1st Team Games Both Home And Away
Strength & Weakness Analysis of Opposition, In And Out Of Possession, Set Pieces, etc.
Pre & Post Match Analysis: BWFC & Opposition
Manage Part Time Staff and Set Work Schedules for Interns/Volunteers
Training Analysis – Filming, Analysing and Delivering with Coaching Staff
Motivational/Educational projects – pre-match, squad, individual, etc
Trend analysis – Match stats for the 1st Team Squad
Manage links with local universities who provide support for the performance analysis department
Produce resources for players to engage in self-analysis of their performance, and the team’s performance: Whats app videos, One on One session, Etc


General Responsibilities:


Uphold the role of BWFC ambassador providing excellent service at all times, portraying a professional image throughout
Treat all colleagues with respect & ensure positive outcomes across all   communications


Perform other duties as required, which are considered relevant to the post and to the objectives of BWFC
Adhere to and abide by all BWFC policies, procedures and guidelines especially remembering responsibilities to others under:

Qualifications & knowledge:


Relevant Sports Degree (Sports Coaching/Sport Science Etc.)
Minimum Level 2 football coaching qualification; Ideally holds UEFA B licence
1 year of experience of working within a professional football analysis department.
Knowledge of EPPP requirements
Understanding of Hudl Platform, Sportscode, Wyscout, Final Cut software


Understanding of Mac & Windows based software.


FA Safeguarding Qualification
