Performance Analysis Intern
Bedford Blues are seeking a Performance Analyst intern ahead of the upcoming Championship season to work alongside Jake McKenzie. The role will give the successful applicant the opportunity to work within the Championship club environment.
Purpose of the Placement:
(i) To provide support to the Bedford Blues Performance Analyst department, particularly around areas including live data collection, analysis and performance evaluation.
(ii) To provide an aspiring Performance Analyst intern with an opportunity to work in and contribute to the department of a Championship Rugby Club.
The ideal candidate will be required to help with filming of Bedford Blues training sessions, match days and other times as agreed with the Performance Analyst.
Any reasonable expenses incurred will be covered.
Desirable Personal Attributes:
Previous experience in Sports Performance Analysis
A sound understanding of computer software systems, especially coding and Nacsport.
A reasonable understanding of rugby union.
To have an outstanding work ethic and ability to work and communicate as part of a team.
To be disciplined in their approach to their work and have the ability to adapt.
A good sense of humour.
This position is ideally suited to someone from Bedford or the surrounding area. External applications will also be considered.
