The iPad will be 5 years old in April, still a baby in technology terms. There is currently a boom in the number of Apps being produced by the more established performance analysis companies. This can only be good news as more professional, user friendly products are now being launched.
Here is a round up of 23 of the best Video Analysis Apps I have found. What ones did I miss?
in Italy we use VMLiveScout, free app

One app I love and is something similar to TacticsBoard is CoachNote ( link here https://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/coachnote-sports-coachs-interactive/id495635047?mt=8) for me it’s that wee bit more user friendly than TacticsBoard and you can export your work in video format which can be very handy.
Very nice collection, thanks!
As an athlete I very much like the O’See Video Delay app: http://www.osee-app.com
It gives faster and more easy video feedback during training, especially when my coach has no time for doing analysis during training.
CoachMePlus is a great app to check out. However, it doesn’t look like it’s open to the public.
In this list your are missing Smartcoach, Videobserver’s android app.
As it was only released in September, I guess you didn’t have time to know it, otherwise you would put it first on the list.
Rob, a very nice overview but one App is missing: the SoccerLAB video analysis App. SoccerLAB is a central database application including advanced video solutions. In professional football since 2001.

Thanks Rob. Great list! myplayXplay is one to add also. A very nice video annotation and review system.

I prefer the Playsight.app
