Performance Analysis Industry News 2
Team Performance Exchange is now up and running in the UK. In essence TPE is an internet module for sportscode products that users can exchange information such as video instances and documents with players and other staff members. The website also allows you to communicate with the team by sending messages to individual players, whole team announcements or posting events on players calenders. The module also gives the coach the ability to monitor each players use of the website with a sign in log and the influence it can have on the learning process with the questionnaire function. Each player/staff member has an account/profile that is linked into the team so everyone has access to the online material and of training and matches.
Overall it seems like a very powerful tool for the coach to impact upon the players performance and the learning process. The module is already a big hit in Holland with clubs such as Ajax and Feyenoord using it as well as the Dutch and Trinidad and Tobago national football teams. However is not strictly limited to football with GB Hockey, and Ireland Hockey among many other high profile sporting clients as well as Universities and youth development programmes.
