The successful candidates will be working closely with the Head of Analysis for the Club, Coaches and Players within the Academy (9-15) age groups.  This is a great opportunity to gain invaluable experience in match analysis and insights into coaching at a professional football environment.

 

 

Main responsibilities:

  • The filming of Academy matches on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
  • The production of statistical performance reports.
  • Working with coaches to prepare and aid in the delivery of feedback sessions and team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Have, or be in the process of, undertaking an Undergraduate Degree in Sports Science or alternative subjects.

Development Squad Performance Analyst Intern

AFC Bournemouth are looking to recruit a full time development squad performance analyst intern for the remainder of the 2014-15 season. The position will be based at the Goldsands Stadium, Dean Court, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH7 7AF.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Filming development squad games when arranged. These could be arranged for any weekday.

Tring Athletic Football Club – Volunteer Video Analyst

tlcTring Athletic Football Club from the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division (Step 5 / Level 9) are looking for volunteers to help develop their Performance Analysis capabilities.

The role will involve a range of tasks, including filming (Home and Away within Greater London/Herts/Beds/Bucks) and editing of matches with the aim to use this footage not only for both Coaching but also to improve the level of awareness of the club through use of footage via Web/ Social Media. Experience in recording matches/Performance Analysis is preferred but not essential.

Give the number of matches and potential travel involved, the aim is to use publicly available open- source tools such as Longomatch to enable any work to be shared across a number of people, to avoid the need for a single person to be responsible for all activity.

As such, the role offers an opportunity to for anyone interested to get involved even if they are unable to commit to filming all games and would suit anyone looking for hands-on experience within Performance Analysis as part of a future career or study and working within a football club in general.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Film academy and youth team games. (Under 9’s to Under 18’s)
  • Create Individual clips from the game for the Youth Team
  • Compile team video clips and reports from the game relating to the weekly topics/game objectives.

Requirements:

  • Have/be in the process of an undergraduate degree.
  • Be available either Saturday or Sunday every weekend (Academy match days).
  • Possess good football knowledge
  • Be a Competent user of Microsoft, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Assist the coaches with the delivery of feedback – classroom sessions
  • Have experience using video editing software (Desirable)
  • Attend Academy training sessions for training & individual player analysis (Desirable)
  • Have access to camera and tripod.
