An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wigan Athletic Football Club for a Head of Performance Analysis based at our Christopher Park Training Complex.
The nature of the role demands a high level of flexibility outside normal working hours along with total confidentiality that is expected within a commercially sensitive environment.
Reporting to the First Team Manager, the successful candidate will lead a team of analysts providing analysis services throughout the football club.
On a day to day basis the Head of Performance Analysis will liaise with the First Team Manager and coaching staff to assess performance of both the opposition and Wigan Athletic. As a key member of the first team staff you will be required to attend all home and away fixtures including overnight stays. There will also be a requirement to develop analysis further within all aspects of the club.

Tring Athletic Football Club from the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division (Step 5 / Level 9) are looking for volunteers to help develop their Performance Analysis capabilities.
The role will involve a range of tasks, including filming (Home and Away within Greater London/Herts/Beds/Bucks) and editing of matches with the aim to use this footage not only for both Coaching but also to improve the level of awareness of the club through use of footage via Web/ Social Media. Experience in recording matches/Performance Analysis is preferred but not essential.
Give the number of matches and potential travel involved, the aim is to use publicly available open- source tools such as Longomatch to enable any work to be shared across a number of people, to avoid the need for a single person to be responsible for all activity.
